favorite herb?  rosemary, I love the way it smells and tastes.  I have a plant but I think I'm killing it.

have you ever seen a ghost?  No, I don't think so.  There was a time when I was reading The Shining when I thought I saw the shape of a small boy down my hallway but I think I was just imagining things.

What is your favorite genre to write? I've always been drawn to darkness, morbidity.  I was raised to believe in heaven and hell, right and wrong, purity and evil and so I think my eagerness and fascination stem from there.  The things that are instilled in us in our youth are binding.  Not that I necessarily still believe those things anymore but something stayed with me, like a ghostly remnant. The fear of the unknown mixed with earnest curiosity and excitement.
