This is me (left, in blue) and my little sister, Katherine (right, in pink) with our cats.  We loved to dress them up in doll clothes.  They must not have minded because they would walk us to and from the bus stop every day.

ABOUT

How is it that we get to know someone?  What is the best method of relaying the complex intricacies of our person, our idiosyncrasies, our character?  Perhaps bit by bit through stories.  My name is Millie Rose and I have a few.

My husband and I attending Chicago's C2E2  dressed as the infamous duo, Rick and Morty.  It's a place where everyone can be completely silly and completely serious about it.

Leonardo loved it when I would say with my very terrible Italian accent, "Il mio Italiano spacca", which means "My Italian rocks!"  It's the only phrase I ever learned in Italian, other than where to find the spaghetti.
(I was an au pair in Arcore, Italy in 2014)

I wrote a short story in the second grade entitled "Louis Saves Captain Fishfinger" about a "good" pirate that saves a "bad" pirate from being eaten by a shark. This thrilling first novelette catapulted me from dithering toddler to awarding winning author (Best Second Grade Story) and set me up to continue writing stories for the rest of my life.
